Sylvia Perry, PharmD
Dr. Sylvia Perry is a nationally recognized pharmacist, two-time
best-selling author, speaker, and consultant. Her expertise in pharmacy
implementation and administration is unparalleled, making her a trusted
provider of consultant pharmacists throughout Texas. Her leadership in the
field has been acknowledged by the Texas Pharmacy Association (TPA), which honored
her with the Robert L. Hays Outstanding Consultant Pharmacist Award in 2024. She was appointed to serve on the TPA Association Affairs Council and Public Policy
Council.
Along with her brother and father, Dr. Sylvia is an HBCU graduate.
She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the renowned Xavier University of
Louisiana. In 2018, she was honored for her work as part of Xavier’s 40 under
40 Young Alumni Awards. She credits her HBCU experience with molding her into a
servant leader and forming her can-do attitude.
Dr. Sylvia is not just a pharmacist; she is a passionate advocate
for public health. Her commitment to equal access to care, reducing the white
coat stigma, addressing health disparities in the Black community, and
promoting caregiving is truly inspiring. Her leadership as the President of the
National Pan-Hellenic Council of Dallas and her service as a Life Member of
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are testaments to her unwavering commitment to
community service and uplift.
